‘People die in Ingushetia, as if they are on front’

Magas/Agency Caucasus – “People die in Ingushetia, as if they are on front” said Magomed Mutsolgov, the head of the human rights organization Mashr, operating in Ingushetia.

Speaking about armed incidents that took place in a week in Caucasia and resulted with death of 12 people, Mutsolgov said that these numbers resemble reports from a war front. Commenting on the number of people killed in Ingushetia in 2009-2010, Mutsolgov said that “These numbers are too high for Ingushetia’s population. Yet we could have avoided from losing these people”. According to the information given by Mutsolgov, 304 people in 2009 and 148 people in 2010 were killed in Ingushetia. KU/OZ/CY
